Everyone craves and hankers after so many things in his life like a beautiful house, adorable spouse, dream job, and many more but few do a great deal of hard work to accomplish these longings. We live in a world where almost everyone wants to bear the fruit of someone else's hard work because no one wants to live a life of toil. Let's go through an untold and inspiring story of a young girl who pursued her dream against all odds.
Once there lived a girl, who had a dream that was against the norms of her society. She aspired to plow her barren land and wanted to sell the ripe crop in the market. Everybody just opposed her idea of becoming a farmer and businesswoman for different reasons. Her family was scared to face society and also they were not aware of her talent and potential. After all the defiance, she decided to work in silence. With the help of her fast friend and some other people, she began her journey. Soon, they succeeded in plowing the barren land by working like trojans in the headship of the young girl. The young girl used to stand at the boundary of her fields and watch them blowing in the wind. This scene always warmed her heart and filled her with ecstasy.
Unfortunately, something bad happened and it bewildered the young girl. Her dadi amma (grandmother) always tried to soothe her soul whenever she found her grandchild in hot water. She noticed her behavior for some days and one day she asked her about the agony.
She told her about the conundrum that her best friend lost the zeal to achieve her dream and became reluctant to make any effort. Then Dadi Amma told the young girl who was sitting in her lap that nobody could feel the passion and pain for your dream because that was only your dream. Nobody would make sacrifices as you could so don't lose heart and try to understand the situation realistically. If you took the courage to dream about something then you have to own it. Moreover, everyone didn't have a pure soul as you have. This truth and the moving fingers of her dadi amma in her hair alleviated her pain and tranquilized her mind with joy.
This story enlightens us that if you yearn for something then you are the only one who can feel the fervour and passion for your dream. Nobody can feel the importance of that dream in your life so never expect from anybody that he or she will make a sacrifice or strive for you. Just keep the ball rolling - that's how dreams become reality.
"A dream doesn't become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination, and hard work." (Colin Powell)
